Dr. Hamilton was provided two GPS receivers and a GPSurvey equipped data processing computer to measure ice sheet displacements at various locations. This equipment was shipped to Dr. Hamilton at The Ohio State University prior to the field season, then turned over to the UNAVCO engineer in McMurdo upon field project completion. Training and direct support were not necessary due to the field team's experience. Their GPS data were backed up by UNAVCO upon project completion. A GPSurvey data processing hardware key was also provided to Dr. Hamilton in Ohio after the field season for some remaining data processing tasks.
