Summary:
UNAVCO support was requested to provide a long baseline tie between McMurdo and two local GPS base stations used at the Meteorite City field camp area. Due to bad weather only one point was surveyed. The UNAVCO engineer set up the receiver at the field camp location and provided a brief training on its operation. A field team member returned the equipment to McMurdo after the necessary survey was complete, and the data were downloaded and processed by the UNAVCO engineer.
