Summary:
ASA surveyor Jeff Scanniello requested UNAVCO assistance to obtain decimeter level GPS coordinates of the runways at Williams Field and Pegasus Field. The Williams Field runways were surveyed using the Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) system. At the time of the Pegasus Field survey, the UNAVCO differential GPS station had been dismantled. As a result, the Pegasus runway was surveyed using the kinematic data collection strategy. The data were post-processed by the UNAVCO field engineer. The UNAVCO field engineer also upgraded the outdated firmware in all six of the ASA Engineering owned Trimble GPS receivers.
