Summary: Dr. McKnight came to UNAVCO with a late season request for both GPS and ground based LiDAR support to augment her ongoing research in the Taylor Valley and the McMurdo Dry Valleys LTER.  A UNAVCO Field Engineer traveled to Lake Fryxell and Lake Bonney to take GPS measurements and scan features of interest.  The TLS efforts were limited to Lake Fryxell.  UNAVCO provided post processing and data achiving.
