Summary: UNAVCO received a late request from B-236 (Skidmore) to take GPS measurements at their Taylor Glacier study site.  The team had tunneled into the flank of the Taylor glacier to use gas analysis to obtain a detailed geomicrobiological map of the basal ice. To help with this, the group was interested in obtaining an accurate GPS fix on the entrance to the tunnel. They will use this information to reference the location of ice cores taken this season from inside the tunnel. Permission for the late request was granted by the NSF Organisms & Ecosystems Program Director.  Data was processed and archived.
