Summary: The ANDRILL crew continued in its efforts to recover a high resolution Pleistocene to Holocene paleoenvironmental record preserved in sediment strata at the bottom of McMurdo Sound.  As part of the ongoing work on the ANDRILL project, the group explored potential new drill sites in the RossSea region.  This year those efforts were focused in Granite Harbor and the Mackay sea valley where over 20 km of multi channel seismic shot data was taken UNAVCO engineers measured the location of each point along the shot line, set at 50 meter intervals, and provided the group with highly accurate coordinates along their seismic grid.
