Summary: Dr. DeVries' group studies the physiology of fish and larvae found in the cold Antarctic waters to see how ice grows in biological tissues and how antifreeze glycoproteins inhibit it. UNAVCO provided training, one Trimble 4700, data processing, and archiving for the measurement of locations of underwater instruments to make future recovery of these instruments more efficient.
