Summary:
Dr. Stone's group is working to define the Holocene history of Reedy glacier through both geological and geophysical means. Learning the history of Reedy glacier, and in particular determining whether the glacier is in continued retreat, will lend insight into the recent and current dynamics of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet. UNAVCO provided one Trimble 4700 receiver for measuring sample locations, and processed and archived the data.
