Summary: Dr. Putkonen and his team worked in the southern Transantarctic range to determine the landscape evolution in the Transantarctic mountains in time scales from years to millions of years. UNAVCO provided the group with 2 GPS receivers plus solar panels. Training was provided prior to the team departing McMurdo.
