Summary: Dr. Ashworth and the G-294 team used UNAVCO provided GPS gear for PPK and static measurements, enabling detailed mapping of fossil study sites. In-depth GPS training and post processing support was provided by UNAVCO at McMurdo Station. Additionally, UNAVCO provided ground based LiDAR scanning of key fossil study areas.
