Summary: Dr. Alex Simms travelled to the Antarctic Peninsula to conduct among other things, a high-precision elevation survey of beach ridges on islands near Marguerite Bay.  This will be Simms second visit to this area to collect samples and to measure beach features. To assist with this survey, UNAVCO provided the team with training in Boulder and two complete Trimble GPS systems.
