Summary: Dr. Kennicutt and his team are studying the temporal and spatial impact of human activities in the McMurdo vicinity. The group used the McMurdo real-time kinematic (RTK) GPS system to determine their sampling locations. UNAVCO provided refresher training and one RTK system.
