Summary: A total of 18 GPS receivers (15 Trimble NetRS, 3 Trimble 5700) were provided to I-189 to populate a network covering the Thwaites ice stream at WAIS Divide, where the team is advancing their study of the regional ice stream dynamics.  GPS monitoring was combined with seismic and radar imaging to more fully characterize the stream.
