The NSF GAGE Facility (hereafter GAGE) Data Center began as an archive of GPS data in 1992 as part of the GAGE mission to support and promote Earth science by advancing high-precision techniques for the measurement of crustal deformation. The Data Center has since expanded and now manages archiving and distribution of GPS/GNSS and SAR data and products. GAGE supports archiving of these data through GAGE's data collection activities and those of our NSF and NASA-funded community investigators.
The GAGE Data Center provides secure long-term storage for GPS/GNSS data and data productsand holds metadata in a searchable database. Data and data products are available to the scientific community and to the public, and can be explored at GPS/GNSS Data.
In addition to Level 0 and Level 1 data (raw and quality checked RINEX), the Data Center provides GPS/GNSS products from the EarthScope Plate Boundary Observatory (PBO). These include GAGE-processed solutions of data from PBO sites and other select sites, such as SINEX solution files and associated RMS, position time series, periodic site velocity estimares, and tropospheric models used for each day of GAGE processing.
GAGE archives and distributes special community-produced data products, such as quality assessement of permanent stations done by Universtiy of Nevada Reno, and soil water moisture, snow depth, snow depth water equivalents, and vegetation water content estimates from GPS data at selected sited, mostly in the PBO GPS Network, done by University of Colorado at Boulder.
NSF- and NASA-funded Principal Investigators (and others by arrangement) can Request Support for archving of their GPS/GNSS data and products.
GAGE provides infrastructure for data management, archiving, and distribution of satellite-based SAR data acquired through EarthScope and through the activities of the WInSAR Consortium. Data and data products are available to the scientific community and to the public, and can be explored at SAR Data.
NSF- and NASA-funded Principal Investigators (and others by arrangement) can Request Support for archving of their SAR data and products.
