Travel Arrangements

Room list is due to the hotel by Friday September 28 so your confirmation and travel reservation is needed by then.

Please contact Katie Shapiro (katie.shapirotravelctm.com) to book your flights.

Please contact Jaime Magliocca (jmagliounavco.org) to confirm your attendence. She will add you to hotel rooming list. Please contact her with travel-related questions.

Travel is covered for all workshop participants up to $800, with the expectation that some of the US participants will come in below this amount and we will be able to cover higher costs for participants who are coming from greater distances.

Participants must adhere to the Fly America Act since the reimbursement is coming through government grants, except for in extreme conditions as described here: https://travel.slac.stanford.edu/fly-america-act. This means that American Flag Carriers or Open Skies collaborating airlines must be used in most cases.

Hotel

Hotel accomodations will be provided to all participants from outside the Denver area.

The workshop will be held at the Westin Denver International Airport, which is connected to the airport itself. Thus no additional travel is needed once you arrive to Denver. However, outside the workshop hours, Downtown Denver can be easily reached via RTD light rail (Line A) that departs from the Transit Center directly below the Westin ever 15-30 minutes depending on the time of day (schedule).
