| Release Notes: | These continuous sites were built about 3 weeks after the 2021 Chignik earthquake, to study postseismic deformation from that event (and any potential future nearby events). The sites recorded on site until June 2022, and were then upgraded to have Iridium telemetry so that daily data could be available. Graduate students at MSU and UAF are working on these data for their dissertation research. The sites are expected to operate until summer 2025, when permit conditions will require their removal. We thank the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge for allowing the installation of these sites.
