Release Notes: The pre-1995 data are imprecise due to the poor global tracking network. The 1989 survey was done during a magnetic storm and no L2 data were recorded. The Riverside County Survey contributed substantially to these campaigns under the direction of William Young, and the US National Geodetic Survey was primarily responsible for the 1986 survey and contributed to the 1995 survey under the direction of William Strange. Many other individuals served as operators, but only those who contributed to multiple campaigns or to operator training are listed as coauthors.
