Associated Data Products
Associated data products are created from lower level products such as environmental data. Associated data products is a catch-all term for data and models available at GPS/GNSS sites for atmospheric, hydrologic, and other applications that exclude the traditional station positions and velocities.
Hydrologic Models
The hydrologic models are surface-loading displacement time series calculated at GAGE-processed sites from hydrological data. Soil moisture, snow-water equivalent from snowpack, and water stored in vegetation exert a load on the Earth’s surface that is modeled to obtain displacements at GPS/GNSS sites. The soil moisture, snowpack, and vegetation loads are extracted from monthly environmental files produced by the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS) and the National Land Data Assimilation System (NLDAS), available from the Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center.
Hydrologic models are available by file server from https://gage-data.earthscope.org/archive/gnss/products/hydro or via our web service. Links to information and resources about this product are provided below.
