Summary:
Two TurboRogue receivers were shipped to S-098 in Austin, Texas prior to the field season. S-098 shipped these receivers to the Siple Dome field camp where they were used for the entire field season. SOAR/S-098 is the only UNAVCO supported user of these TurboRogue receivers, and discussions with NSF have indicated that these receivers are to be permanently transferred to SOAR. Other Antarctica projects will not be affected by such a move as these receivers are not well suited for the more typical UNAVCO supported applications. After the field project, the field engineer received the equipment at McMurdo and arranged shipment directly back to the UNAVCO Facility.
