Summary: Dr. Balco and his team worked this season to reconstruct ice surface elevation change between the Last Glacial Maximum (ca. 15,000 yrs ago) and the present at the Foundation Ice Stream in the Pensacola Mountains. UNAVCO provided the group with 4 GPS receivers plus solar panels. Training was provided prior to the team departing McMurdo.
