Join us in Measuring our Changing Earth!
Our staff are leaders in helping scientists study Earth systems and providing educators the resources they need to teach about the Earth. We specialize in geodesy—understanding the Earth’s shape, size, rotation, and gravity field. Geodesy allows us to understand why tectonic plates move and how fast sea level is rising, and enables the use of GPS in cell phones, among many other societal benefits. Our mission is to facilitate geoscience research and education using geodesy.
