Activities and Assignments from Participants Using GPS data in teaching data analysis
Seth Stein Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences Northwestern University, Evanston IL 60208 Although GPS data are most naturally used in teaching classes about tectonics, they are also very useful in teaching data analysis. This handout shows two homework problems used in a data analysis course for advanced undergraduates and beginning graduate students.
Activities and Assignments from Participants Web-based materials for Secondary Teachers
At the Science Media Group, we don't actually teach students, per se, but we produce video-based distance learning courses which Annenberg Media distributes free of charge through their website. Some of this material may be appropriate for introductory, college-level courses.
