INTERFACE was a collaborative project funded by NSF that produced specialized terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) data processing and visualization software tools developed specifically for geoscience applications.
INTERFACE activities were centered on the development and accessibility of four integrated research and instructional components:
INTERFACE investigators taught short courses at the 2009 and 2010 Geological Society of America (GSA) Annual Meetings and introduced TLS to undergraduate and graduate curricula such as Indiana University Geology Field Camp.
