2010 UNAVCO Science Workshop - Participant Funding
The following information will help you determine your registrant type.
UNAVCO supports each registrant type differently.
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email that will include:

Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Invited SpeakersUNAVCO will cover expenses for Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Invited Speakers. UNAVCO will not reimburse incidentals, upgrades, field trip fees or accompanying participant expenses.
Representatives of Member and Associate Member InstitutionsUNAVCO will cover 100% of lodging less incidentals and upgrades. UNAVCO will cover up to $150.00 for transportation for one representative from each UNAVCO member or associate member institution in good standing, if that institution is not otherwise represented by a committee member or speaker. Members must pay for lodging and transportation at time of booking and will be reimbursed by UNAVCO via an expense report submitted to UNAVCO following the meeting. A registration fee is not required. UNAVCO will not reimburse incidentals, upgrades, field trip fees or accompanying participant expenses. UNAVCO bylaws require that Member Representatives must be designated in writing. If your Institution Member Representative has changed, a designated official within your institution must inform UNAVCO in writing 60 days prior (February 8, 2010) to the Workshop. |

Students and Postdoctoral Fellows Requesting SupportSince limited support is available for students, you must download an Application for Support and return it to Jaime Magliocca by February 8, 2010. Your research topics will be reviewed and you will be notified whether or not support is available by February 20, 2010. Self-Supported Participants and Self-Supported StudentsSelf-Supported Participants are responsible for all expenses, including, air, hotel accommodations, transfers and field trip fees. UNAVCO Staff (Non-Boulder Employees)UNAVCO Staff will pay for their own air and hotel at the time of booking with their UNAVCO Credit Card and submit an expense report following the meeting. If you do not have a UNAVCO Credit Card, please contact Jaime Magliocca. A registration fee is not required for any employee. UNAVCO will not reimburse incidentals, upgrades, field trip fees or accompanying participant expenses. Please contact Jaime Magliocca if you have questions regarding any aspect of the workshop.
