Governance - Frank Webb Candidate Statement
UNAVCO, Inc. is fast approaching a critical junction in its history as it
ramps up to the FY04 beginning not only of its first large project, the
PBO component of EarthScope, but also one of the largest projects of its
kind for this community and its sponsors. The level of challenges of this
endeavor and the importance of it success to UNAVCO can not be over
emphasized. It is thus important that the UNAVCO Inc. Board implement
and exercise the appropriate support, autonomy, oversight, guidance,
administration, organization, and infrastructure so that this project
and UNAVCO's other current and future projects will be successful for all.
I am eager to work with the Board to lay the ground work for the success
of UNAVCO Inc., on these initiatives, and other initiatives that will
come along in the future.
